Linux and Ubuntu is new to me.
But we have become fast friends.
I wanted to try Linux for myself.
So, a few weeks ago, I purchased a legacy Dell Latitude with Ubuntu installed.
My first upgrade was Noble Numbat.
Then, I upgraded to Resolute Raccoon.
This is the how-to-guide per Ubuntu:
I discovered that I could get Resolute Raccoon by the Software & Updates GUI.
Notice the setting:
"Notify me of a new Ubuntu version"
I changed the setting to "For any new version"
And then Ubuntu 26.04 LTS (Resolute Raccoon) became available
