Back when the trial first began, lawyer Mark Lanier, in his opening statement, compared social media platforms to casinos, and addictive drugs.

Purportedly, they want to hold Meta, and Google’s YouTube responsible for addictive issues to children who use their products.

Call me a sceptic.

I think the caring part may play some part. But in the end, I think its about the money.
