Honoring Our Grandparents

It's probably both easier, and more difficult to be a grandparent.

At one end, grandparents have parenting experience under their belt, so they have learned from their mistakes. And now will apply what they have learned with their grandchildren.

On the other end, the pressure is on, because there are no parenting mulligans left.

Later in their life, I had the honor of getting to know my grandparents. With their wisdom and grace, they tried to steer me back into calmer waters. For that, I am grateful.
