Klatarismenophobia is fear of a flat tire.
A phobia can be described as an irrational fear. I don't think the fear of getting a flat tire is entirely irrational.
Recently, I caught a flat.
I got a sinking feeling when the car told me that the tire needed air. Like now. Then a couple minutes later, the tire was flat.
I will admit. I was scared.
Like manly scared.
Quiet and tough on the outside.
Crying on the inside like an infant.
If I had AAA, I would have called them and pretended my arm was incapacitated somehow.
But I pushed though. And swapped the flat for the little spare. After the fact, pushing through the fear did help.
